Carine, thank you for your initiative and idea to do this. Hopefully, this will become and Oasis Family Tradition! Your opening of your home was a wonderful thing! You kept everything going and with the food, the crafts, and all. Our family had such a wonderful time, and how cool to see so many Dad’s there

Thanks for all who participated. I enjoyed getting to know many of you better. These are exciting times and I look forward to getting to know you more and more as the weeks, months and years pass on
As a side note, my children loved making the craft that they got to bring home Which brings us to another family tradition. God Centered Crafts. I used to be a preschool teacher and crafts were always a highlight to the day. Being at home most of the time, we do put a lot of emphasis on the arts and music in our home. Art is always readily available even if it is just paper scissors and crayons. At Christmas though, we try and do more. Because our schedules are very busy, I do not always come up with these on my own, I cheat sometimes. Oriental Trading has many great inspirational crafts all set up to do and they are very inexpensive. My children love them
